Report: Daniel Levy keep tabs on Carlo Ancelotti

Daniel Levy will reportedly contact Carlo Ancelotti should he and Real Madrid part ways this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is waiting for news of Carlo Ancelotti's future before he considers appointing a new manager, according to The Mirror.

The Real Madrid manager's job is said to be in doubt, with many believing he will be sacked if he fails to bring the Champions League trophy back to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Levy reportedly wants a more experienced man at the helm after deciding to part ways with Tim Sherwood, despite the Englishman's win ratio.

Ancelotti is now supposedly Tottenham's number one target, though whether or not an approach is made depends on the result of tonight's Champions League final in Lisbon.

Spurs have also been linked with Ajax coach Frank de Boer and Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino, one of whom being expected to be approached should Ancelotti remain in Madrid.
