Jurgen Klinsmann is reportedly keen to replace Mauricio Pochettino as head coach of Tottenham Hotspur.

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Jurgen Klinsmann is reportedly keen to replace Mauricio Pochettino as head coach if the Argentine decides to leave the London club.

Pochettino's future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is believed to be far from secure following a difficult start to the 2019-20 campaign.

Both Real Madrid and Manchester United are said to be closely monitoring the situation, with the Argentine seemingly becoming increasingly frustrated with life in the capital.

According to the Daily Mail, Klinsmann would be interested in becoming his former club's new manager if the opportunity were to present itself in the coming weeks.

The German, who scored 29 goals for Tottenham during the 1994-95 campaign before returning two years later, has not managed since leaving the USA national team in 2016.

The 55-year-old started his coaching career with Germany - where he spent two years - before taking charge of Bayern Munich during the 2008-09 campaign ahead of a five-year stint with the USA.
