Harry Kane: 'Tottenham Hotspur can build some momentum in Premier League'

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane backs his side to build some momentum over the festive period following this evening's late 2-1 win over Swansea City.

Harry Kane is hopeful that Tottenham Hotspur can push on following their dramatic 2-1 victory against Swansea City and climb back up the Premier League table.

A late strike from Christian Eriksen ensured that Spurs left the Liberty Stadium with all three points this evening, which lifts them up to seventh place in the standings.

Speaking after the game, Tottenham's opening goalscorer Kane told Sky Sports News: "We wanted to come out of the blocks flying and it was great to put the ball into the back of the net and give us a good start.

"It's an important three points and hopefully we can build some momentum over Christmas now."

Next up for the North London outfit is a League Cup quarter-final tie against Newcastle United in midweek.
