Tottenham Hotspur legend Glenn Hoddle warns the club that Harry Kane's head may start to turn unless they can match his ambition and win trophies.

Tottenham Hotspur legend Glenn Hoddle has claimed that there are no better strikers in world football right now than Harry Kane.

The England international scored in both matches during the recent international break to maintain his remarkable goalscoring form since the beginning of September, plundering 15 goals in his last 10 games for club and country.

Such a hot streak has led to reports suggesting that Real Madrid are willing to offer three of their star players to land the 24-year-old, and Hoddle believes that Kane's head may start to turn unless Spurs can match his ambition.

"If they want to go on and win the Premier League and Champions League, they have got to keep the best players and you can't tell me there is a better striker than Harry at the moment," he told talkSPORT.

"There is no one in better form than Harry Kane and the kid is such a good lad. I have met, I've worked with him. He just wants to learn. He is no problem to the manager.

"He has got absolutely everything. Left foot goals, right foot goals, inside the box. Why wouldn't you pay him top dollar? It can only go on for a few more years of 'oh, I love Tottenham, this is my club'. In the end his agent and himself and are going to go 'hold on, you have to match my ambition and desire to win things'."

Kane will be back in action again this weekend when Tottenham host Bournemouth on Saturday.
