Harry Redknapp misses Liverpool trip

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp will miss his side's trip to Liverpool this evening.

The 64-year-old was expected to catch a private plane to fly him up to Merseyside in time for the match at Anfield.

However, his flight has been severely delayed and there is now not enough time for Redknapp to make the fixture.

Redknapp was unable to travel with the squad because of his ongoing trial at Southwark Crown Court for two counts of tax evasion.

Joe Jordan and Kevin Bond will now take charge of Spurs for tonight's match.
