Brad Friedel praises Emmanuel Adebayor

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Brad Friedel has heaped praise upon teammate Emmanuel Adebayor.

The 27-year-old is currently on loan at Spurs after being told by Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini that he was surplus to requirements at the Etihad Stadium.

"Emmanuel Adebayor is a really nice fella and very relaxed," the American keeper told BBC Radio 5 Live. "He's trained so hard since coming to the club and always has a smile on his face.

"You hear about players but until you train with them you dont know what they're like."

Friedel, 40, signed on at White Hart Lane on a free transfer from Aston Villa during the summer.
