Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has been ruled out of action for around a month.
The Brazilian international has undergone surgery to correct a problem in his knee.
"Heurelho Gomes has today undergone surgery on his left knee after a scan revealed a tear of his medial meniscus," read a statement on the club's official website.
"Following consultation with a specialist, it is expected that the Brazil goalkeeper will return to training in four weeks."
Gomes has made four appearances for Spurs this season.
