Spurs striker Jermain Defoe is confident that his side can beat Arsenal on Sunday.

Jermain Defoe believes that Tottenham Hotspur can beat Arsenal on Sunday if they continue to show the form that they have done in recent weeks.

The White Hart Lane club defeated Shamrock Rovers in the Europa League on Thursday after league wins against Wigan and Liverpool.

"Yes, this is the big one, a massive game and one we all want to play in," the striker told the club's official website.

"I'm sure the fans can't wait, the players can't wait and we're ready.

"We're confident, especially the way we are playing. If we put in the same intensity, movement and pass the ball as we did against Liverpool, then I can't see why we can't win the game."

Harry Redknapp's side are currently sixth in the Premier League.
