Ajax manager Frank de Boer rules himself out of the running for the Tottenham job amid reports that the London club had approached him about the role.

Ajax manager Frank de Boer has ruled himself out of the running for the Tottenham Hotspur job and said that he is "happy" to stay in the Netherlands for another season.

Earlier in the week, Tottenham reportedly denied that they had approached De Boer about the possibility of becoming the new manager at White Hart Lane.

"I have no intention to leave. I'm happy to work another year at Ajax," De Boer told Voetbal International.

"Again, I do not mind talking to an interesting club. That includes Spurs.

"But there is no interest. I expect to lead the first session [at Ajax] on 23 June."

Tottenham, who are expected to replace Tim Sherwood at the end of the season, have also been linked with Netherlands boss Louis van Gaal and Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino,
