Michael Dawson credits Hugo Lloris for helping Tottenham Hotspur record a 3-2 win over West Ham United.

Michael Dawson has admitted that Tottenham Hotspur's 3-2 victory over West Ham United last night would not have been possible without their goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

While trailing 2-1, the French international keeper managed to deny Matt Taylor, who had been put through clear on goal for West Ham.

Following that save, late strikes from Gylfi Sigurdsson and Gareth Bale secured the three points for visiting Spurs, but Dawson believes that a lot of the credit should go to Lloris.

"One guy I want to mention is Hugo. He pulled me out of jail when I played Matt Taylor onside. He's got a real shiner for it as well," he told the club's official website.

"That was massive. It was 2-1 at the time and at 3-1, it's probably game over, certainly in terms of winning.

"It would be hard to come back from there, but Hugo made a tremendous save and he did the same in the first half as well."

Lloris joined Spurs last summer from Lyon.
