Nacer Chadli satisfied by North London derby draw

Nacer Chadli reveals that he is happy with the point that Spurs earned against local rivals Arsenal on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nacer Chadli has revealed that he is happy with the point that his side earned against Arsenal on Saturday.

The Belgian international gave Spurs a 54th-minute lead at the Emirates Stadium before Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain made it 1-1 on 74 minutes.

Despite being pleased with getting on the scoresheet in the derby, Chadli believes that Tottenham should be equally as proud of their performance.

"It was a great feeling. I'm really thankful to our fans, they were there for us and really pushed us," he told the club's official website. "I'm very pleased to score. We wanted the three points but Arsenal had chances and scored one. One point is not that bad."

Spurs continue their Europa League campaign on Thursday when they welcome Besiktas to White Hart Lane.
