Gareth Bale praises new teammates

Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale believes that new signings Emmanuel Adebayor and Scott Parker have lifted the atmosphere at White Hart Lane.

Both players received praise for their performances during yesterday's 4-0 victory over Liverpool and Bale expects more of the same in the coming weeks.

"Adebayor is a great character. He gets along with everyone. He has lifted the spirits in the place," said the 22-year-old.

"Scott is a leader. He shows that on the pitch. He is aggressive and he plays with his heart on his sleeve."

Bale scored seven Premier League goals for Spurs last year but is yet to find the net this season.
