Emmanuel Adebayor promises "fun football"

Emmanuel Adebayor claims that Tottenham Hotspur will only be playing "fun football" for the remainder of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor has claimed that the team will only be playing "fun football" for the remainder of the season.

Spurs got back to winning ways on Monday night as an emphatic 5-1 victory over Sunderland kept alive their slim hopes of Champions League qualification.

Adebayor insists that he and his Tottenham teammates will now be looking to enjoy themselves as much as possible on the pitch during the final weeks of the campaign.

"For me the most important thing was to win the game as a team and, to be honest, it's a job well done and we are all very happy," he told the club's official website.

"To be honest, from now until the end of the season it's going to be fun football. We just have to try and enjoy ourselves and the more we enjoy ourselves the more we'll have a result like this."

Spurs continue their Premier League campaign on Saturday when they travel to West Bromwich Albion.
