Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Middlesbrough

Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham Hotspur's latest injuries and suspension news ahead of Tuesday's FA Cup third-round replay against Middlesbrough.

Jose Mourinho will be frustrated at seeing his Tottenham Hotspur side have to play an FA Cup replay with Middlesbrough on Tuesday.

The North London side were saved by a Lucas Moura strike at the Riverside to claim a 1-1 draw against the Championship side.

With a number of key players injured, the Portuguese manager will no doubt hope that this game does not claim any further casualties.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's list of injuries and suspensions in anticipation of this fixture.

Harry Kane

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: April 25 (vs. Arsenal)

Mourinho noted recently that Kane's thigh injury, sustained against Southampton, would fundamentally change the way Spurs would have to play, such is the Englishman's importance to the side. The player has been ruled out until April, with a possible return coming against Arsenal.

Hugo Lloris

Status: Out
Type of injury: Elbow
Possible return date: January 22 (vs. Chelsea)

The Frenchman has been sidelined with an elbow ligament problem in October but is nearing a return to action - possibly in time for the trip to Chelsea later this month.

Moussa Sissoko

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: April 25 (vs. Arsenal)

Just like Kane, Sissoko will not be ready to make a return to action until late April after suffering knee ligament damage, leaving Spurs searching for midfielders in this window.

Ben Davies

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: January 22 (vs. Chelsea)

Sidelined since Mourinho's first game in charge at Spurs, Davies is in the home stretch towards recovery from an ankle problem, with a return against Chelsea the most likely outcome.

Tanguy Ndombele

Status: Out
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: Unknown

The new signing has been plagued by injuries since joining the club over the summer, with his latest coming against Southampton on New Year's Day. Mourinho recently noted that the player's progression has been significantly stunted by injuries this term.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR'S SUSPENSION LIST

Spurs have no players who are suspended for this fixture.
