Spurs injury, suspension list vs. Burnley

Tottenham Hotspur will look to bounce back from losing at Manchester United on Wednesday with a victory over Burnley in the Premier League this weekend.

A brace from Marcus Rashford condemned Jose Mourinho to his first defeat as Spurs boss on his return to the Theatre of Dreams.

The North London club come up against a resolute Burnley side who will want to move past a 4-1 drubbing at the hands of Manchester City on Tuesday.

Status: Out Type of injury: Elbow Possible return date: Unknown

The captain will not return for some time as he continues to recover from elbow ligament damage sustained against Brighton & Hove Albion in October.


Erik Lamela

Status: Ruled out Type of injury: Thigh Possible return date: December 11 (vs. Bayern Munich)

The Argentine continues to work towards a full recovery from a thigh injury sustained towards the end of last month, with Mourinho noting last week that the player still needed more time.


Michel Vorm

Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Calf Possible return date: December 7 (vs. Burnley)

Vorm is set to make a return to training this week after recovering from calf problem, but looks severely unlikely to return in time for Saturday's game.


Ben Davies

Status: Out Type of injury: Ankle Possible return date: Unknown

Having suffered an ankle problem during Mourinho's first game as Spurs boss, Davies is said to be facing a significant period of time on the sidelines.
