Pedro Porro, Richarlison - Tottenham Hotspur injury news and return dates ahead of Arsenal clash

Porro, Richarlison - Spurs injury news and return dates ahead of Arsenal clash

Following a two-week break from Premier League action, Tottenham Hotspur lock horns with bitter rivals Arsenal on home soil for the latest instalment of the North London derby on Sunday afternoon.

Ange Postecoglou's side have not kicked a ball since they suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat away against Newcastle United on April 13, and they are now playing catch-up in the race to secure a top-four finish.

Tottenham currently sit fifth in the Premier League table and six points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa, but that gap can be reduced if Spurs win their two games in hand, starting with a derby showdown with league leaders Arsenal.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with Mikel Arteta's side, who thrashed Chelsea 5-0 on Tuesday.

Destiny Udogie

Status: Out Type of injury: Thigh Possible return date: Unknown

Destiny Udogie has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on his left quadriceps last week; the Italian will also miss Euro 2024 this summer.

Oliver Skipp

Status: Out Type of injury: Knock Possible return date: May 2 (vs. Chelsea)

Postecoglou has confirmed that Oliver Skipp will miss Sunday's North London derby after picking up a "minor knock".

Fraser Forster

Status: Out Type of injury: Foot Possible return date: Unknown

Fraser Forster sustained a foot fracture in training in February and the veteran goalkeeper is likely be unavailable for the rest of the season.

Manor Solomon

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Manor Solomon has undergone multiple operations in an attempt to mend a troublesome knee injury and there is currently no timeframe on the attacker's potential return.

Ryan Sessegnon

Status: Out Type of injury: Hamstring Possible return date: Unknown

Ryan Sessegnon had only just recovered from one severe injury before picking up a season-ending hamstring problem while playing for the Under-21s earlier this year, and the 23-year-old has months of rehabilitation ahead of him.

Pedro Porro

Status: Available Previous injury: Hamstring Return date: April 28 (vs. Arsenal)

Pedro Porro had emerged as a doubt after he was forced off early in the second half of the defeat at Newcastle with a hamstring strain, but Postecoglou has since confirmed the defender has "trained well" and is in contention to play against Arsenal.

Richarlison

Status: Available Previous injury: Knee Return date: April 28 (vs. Arsenal)

Richarlison has missed Tottenham's last two games with a knee injury, but like Porro, Postecoglou has confirmed the Brazilian "trained well" and is available to play against Arsenal.
