Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Southampton

Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Wednesday's FA Cup fourth-round replay with Southampton.

Tottenham Hotspur head into their FA Cup fourth-round replay with Southampton looking to build on Sunday's triumph over Manchester City.

After riding their luck against the Premier League champions, Spurs were able to record a 2-0 victory in North London to boost their chances of ending the campaign in the top four.

However, Jose Mourinho could have done without an extra match on their schedule, a consequence of only being able to secure a 1-1 draw at St Mary's last month.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's injury and suspension news for the contest on Wednesday night.

Dele Alli

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Foot
Possible return date: February 5 (vs. Southampton)

After several minutes of treatment on a foot injury sustained against Man City, Alli was able to continue. However, the midfielder eventually had to be withdrawn, making him a major doubt for the game this week.

Harry Kane

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

While there have been conflicting reports regarding Kane's eventual return date, the club's top goalscorer will be sidelined until at least the middle of April with a hamstring injury.

Moussa Sissoko

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Like with Kane, there is no prospect of a return for Sissoko until the closing weeks of the season after the Frenchman sustained a serious knee injury over the Christmas and New Year period.

Ben Davies

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: February 5 (vs. Southampton)

Mourinho is keen to provide Davies with some game time after an ankle injury. While it remains unclear whether the Welshman will be available for Wednesday's fixture, Mourinho will hope that the left-back can be involved.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR'S SUSPENSION LIST

Spurs have no suspension issues ahead of this encounter. Steven Bergwijn is ineligible due to signing for Spurs after the initial tie had been played.
