How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Ludogorets Razgrad

Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up for their Europa League clash with Ludogorets Razgrad on Thursday evening.

Tottenham Hotspur travel to Ludogorets Razgrad on Thursday evening for their third Europa League Group J outing.

Jose Mourinho's men have three points from their opening two games, having followed up a 3-0 win over LASK with a surprise 1-0 loss away to Royal Antwerp.

A response is therefore needed against Bulgarian champions Ludogorets, who are without a point from their first two outings.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham could line up at the Huvepharma Arena in Razgrad.

Young full-back Tanganga is Tottenham's only confirmed absentee for Thursday's match, but summer signing Rodon cannot play as he was not registered in Spurs' European squad.

Mourinho has already confirmed that Gareth Bale will start for the third Europa League game running as he continues to build up his match fitness.

Son Heung-min and Erik Lamela started in the wide positions in Sunday's 2-1 win against Brighton and Hove Albion, with Harry Kane used through the middle.

All three are likely to be given a breather for this match, so Lucas Moura and Carlos Vinicius are in line for recalls.

That may also be the case for Dele Alli, who was indirectly criticised by Mourinho for his performance in the defeat to Antwerp when being hauled off midway through.

Harry Winks and Giovani Lo Celso are also in contention to start, with the latter being given 25 minutes from the bench in the Brighton match.
