Tottenham Hotspur players reportedly launch their own dressing room inquest following the club's 7-2 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Tottenham Hotspur players reportedly launched their own inquest in the dressing room following the club's 7-2 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Following a competitive first half which ended 2-1 in favour of the Germans, Mauricio Pochettino's men fell apart as former Arsenal player Serge Gnabry scored four goals to hand Spurs a historic defeat.

The result intensified questions over whether Pochettino, who has managed Spurs for five years, will remain in North London for the entirety of this season.

According to the Evening Standard, the Spurs players were left to thrash out the evening themselves after Pochettino gave them the silent treatment.

The Argentine is said to rarely speak with players immediately after bad results, preferring instead to wait before properly analysing a heavy defeat a few days later.

Spurs will look to make a return to winning ways when they travel to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday.
