Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Olympiacos

Spurs injury, suspension list vs. Olympiacos

Jose Mourinho takes charge of his first Champions League game as Tottenham Hotspur boss on Tuesday night as they host Olympiacos.

The 56-year-old got off to a winning start as Spurs manager on Saturday as they beat West Ham United 3-2 at the Olympic Stadium.

The North London club can book their place in the last 16 of the Champions League with a win against the Greek side.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's latest injuries and suspensions ahead of Tuesday's clash.

Hugo Lloris

Status: Out Type of injury: Elbow Possible return date: February 1 (vs. Manchester City)

Lloris recently had an operation on the elbow he severely injured against Brighton & Hove Albion last month and he is expected to be out until the beginning of February.

Erik Lamela

Status: Out Type of injury: Thigh Possible return date: November 30 (vs. Bournemouth)

Lamela's thigh problem ruled him out of the game with West Ham and while he is recovering well, he is unlikely to feature in midweek.

Jan Vertonghen

Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Hamstring Possible return date: November 26 (vs. Olympiacos)

Vertonghen is now back in full training and he is expected to feature in some capacity against Olympiacos on Tuesday.

Tanguy Ndombele

Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Groin Possible return date: November 26 (vs. Olympiacos)

Ndombele is in a similar position to Vertonghen in that he is now back in training after picking up a groin injury before the international break, but the Frenchman will need to pass a late fitness test before Tuesday's game.

Michel Vorm

Status: Out Type of injury: Calf Possible return date: December 7 (vs. Burnley)

Dutch keeper Vorm, who was brought back to the club to help provide cover in Lloris's continued absence, injured his calf in training and he is expected to be out for a couple of weeks.

Ben Davies

Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Other Possible return date: Unknown

Welsh left-back Davies went off against the Hammers with a muscular issue but the extent of the problem is not yet clear.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR'S SUSPENSION LIST

Spurs have no players suspended for this match.
