How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Bayern Munich

Tottenham Hotspur will continue their Champions League Group B campaign with a home match against German champions Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.

The fixture will mark the first ever Champions League clash between the two teams, although they have met on four previous occasions in the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and UEFA Cup.

Spurs will enter the match off the back of a 2-1 win over Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, but the capital giants, who drew their first Group B game away to Olympiacos on September 18, have struggled for form in recent weeks.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Mauricio Pochettino's side could line up as they prepare to welcome the 2013 European Cup winners to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Out: Giovani Lo Celso (hip), Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring)

Tottenham have still not been able to field Ryan Sessegnon due to a hamstring injury, while fellow summer arrival Giovani Lo Celso is out until the end of October with a hip problem.

Pochettino otherwise has a fully-fit squad to choose from, though, and it will be very interesting to see what shape and indeed personnel the Argentine selects on Tuesday night.

Harry Kane and Son Heung-min are certainties in the final third, while Christian Eriksen could keep his spot in an attacking area - meaning that the likes of Dele Alli, Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura could be left out once again.

Serge Aurier is expected to continue at right-back despite being sent off against Southampton at the weekend, while Ben Davies started away to Olympiacos earlier this month and therefore could replace Danny Rose at left-back.

Elsewhere, Harry Winks, Tanguy Ndombele and Moussa Sissoko should all keep their spots in midfield, while Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen are likely to continue at the heart of the defence.
