Spain end year as number one

European and world champions Spain will end 2011 as the number one team in the FIFA world rankings.

Holland and Germany will finish the year second and third respectively, while Copa America winners Uruguay take fourth place.

England, Brazil, Portugal, Croatia, Italy and Argentina round off the top ten.

Bosnia are the only new side in top 20, having jumped three places to 20th.

Wins over Montenegro, Switzerland and Bulgaria in the Euro 2012 qualifiers ensured that Wales will conclude 2011 as the year's biggest movers, ending up in 48th place.
