Arsenal, Manchester United target Morgan Schneiderlin hints at Southampton exit

Morgan Schneiderlin says that there will be developments on his Southampton future in the "coming days".

Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has revealed that his future will be clarified in the "coming days".

The reported Arsenal and Manchester United target is expected to leave the Saints this summer after previously claiming that he wants to play Champions League football.

Speculation has mounted that the South coast club have agreed to sell the 25-year-old - who has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur - and the Frenchman has intimated that a departure is drawing closer.

In an interview with France Bleu Alsace, he said: "The negotiations are ongoing and should be completed in the coming days.

"Hopefully before the resumption of [Southampton's pre-season] training next week."

Schneiderlin, who joined the club in 2008, has two more years on his contract.
