Southampton have reportedly slapped a £30m price tag on defender Luke Shaw to ward off interest from their Premier League rivals.
Chelsea have been strongly linked with the player, but the Saints have declared that only a world-record bid for a full-back will be entertained, according to the Daily Star.
Recent reports suggest that Southampton owner Katharina Liebherr could apply pressure on manager Mauricio Pochettino to offload key players following the departure of chairman Nicola Cortese.
Pochettino has pledged his future to the club until the end of the season, but made it clear that he will do everything in his power to prevent players being sold against his will.
