Southampton Under-21s win Premier League Cup

Southampton have won the Under-21 Premier League Cup after defeating Blackburn Rovers 2-1 after extra time.

Ryan Seager gave Southampton the lead in the 52nd minute from a tight angle.

Blackburn equalised 13 minutes later when Matt Targett scored an own goal, heading into the net after Bradley Bauress's cross.

Saints midfielder Harrison Reed was sent off in the 87th minute, but Sam Gallagher's goal from 25 yards gave Southampton a cup victory.
