Mauricio Pochettino pleased with international call-ups

Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that he is pleased that his players are being recognised by their respective countries for international call-ups.

Rickie Lambert scored on his England debut, while Steven Davis and Gaston Ramirez are also in regular action for Northern Ireland and Uruguay respectively.

Pochettino told reporters: "It's always positive. We're happy about it, even though we will lose players. It's good for the image of the club."

Southampton face Norwich City in the Premier League on Saturday.
