Stoke City's Mamady Sidibe and Manchester City's Jeremy Helan have joined Sheffield Wednesday on one-month loan deals.
Sidibe, 32, has not played first-team football for over two years after a series of injury problems.
French full-back Helan recently made his debut for Manchester City in their Capital One Cup defeat to Aston Villa.
Both players could feature when Sheffield Wednesday play Leicester City on Saturday.
