Stuart Gray: 'Our extra quality was the difference'

Sheffield Wednesday boss Stuart Gray feels that his team's extra quality was the difference between the two sides in their 1-0 victory over Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.

Sheffield Wednesday boss Stuart Gray feels that his side's extra quality in the final third of the pitch was decisive in their 1-0 victory over Blackpool.

Lewis McGugan scored the only goal of the game in the second half directly from a free kick to earn the Owls three points from a resolute display at Bloomfield Road.

Gray told the club's official website: "It was a hard win but we had that bit of extra quality to take the points. That is our 16th clean sheet in the league and credit to the players for that.

"The most important thing was the result and I think we deserved that one today."

Wednesday are 10th in the Championship table following their victory over the Tangerines.
