Sheffield United and Queens Park Rangers will square off at Bramall Lane on Tuesday evening with both clubs desperately requiring all three points in the Championship promotion race.

After defeats on Saturday, the Blades and Hoops have dropped outside of the top six, albeit with a game in hand on sixth-placed Blackburn Rovers.

We say: Sheffield United 1-0 Queens Park Rangers

With everything point to this being a tense affair, do not expect many goals at Bramall Lane. There is scope for a goalless draw to play out, but we feel that home advantage could prove key for a Sheffield United side who appear to have more chance of lasting the pace in the race for the top six.

Millwall vs. Swansea (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Playoff chasers Millwall will be looking to return to winning ways in the Championship when they welcome Swansea City to the English capital on Tuesday night.

The home side are currently 10th in the table, four points behind sixth-placed Blackburn Rovers, while Swansea, who thrashed Cardiff City on Saturday, occupy 16th position, 11 points off the playoffs.

We say: Millwall 2-2 Swansea City

Millwall desperately need to win this match, as they bid to stay in touch with the top six, but Swansea will be flying following their excellent win over Cardiff. We believe that there will be goals on Tuesday night, predicting an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Den.

Peterborough vs. Luton (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Luton Town will be looking to strengthen their grip on a playoff spot in the Championship when they head to basement side Peterborough United on Tuesday night.

The visitors are currently fourth in the table, three points ahead of seventh-placed Nottingham Forest, while Peterborough sit bottom, eight points behind 21st-placed Reading on the same number of games (39).

We say: Peterborough United 0-2 Luton Town

Luton are in desperate need of the points, as they bid to remain in the top six; Peterborough require the victory for a very different reason, but we are struggling to back the home side here and are tipping Luton to secure a vital three points courtesy of a two-goal success.

Preston North End and Blackpool will both be looking to return to winning ways when they lock horns in the Championship on Tuesday night.

The home side will enter the contest off the back of a 1-0 defeat at Derby County on Saturday afternoon, while Blackpool suffered a 4-1 home loss to Nottingham Forest last time out.

We say: Preston North End 1-1 Blackpool

Both teams will fancy their chances of picking up all three points on Tuesday, but we are struggling to separate them. Preston have drawn nine home Championship fixtures this term, while Blackpool have shared the points on seven occasions on their travels, so a low-scoring draw is a likely outcome here.

Reading play host to Stoke City on Tuesday evening looking to preserve or extend their five-point advantage over the Championship relegation zone.

While the Royals are battling for their second-tier status, a mid-table finish looks likely for Stoke, even after posting back-to-back victories.

With both clubs having shown some form either side of the international break, this has the potential to be a hard-fought contest. While Stoke have the freedom to push for all three points, we are backing Reading to earn a deserved share of the spoils.
