Report: Sevilla close to Gregory Sertic signing

Sevilla are reportedly closing in on the signing of Bordeaux midfielder Gregory Sertic.

The 25-year-old has been with his current club since 2005, making more than 100 league appearances during his six seasons in the first team.

According to Inside Spanish Football, Sevilla are confident of wrapping up the deal this week.

It is understood that Sertic will arrive on an initial loan deal, before the move is made permanent next summer.

Sevilla currently sit fifth in La Liga after 19 matches, but their top-four hopes took a hit on Sunday evening when they lost 3-1 at nearest challengers Valencia.
