Sevilla attacker Vitolo has insisted that his team have turned a corner following a disappointing start to the new La Liga season.
The Europa League winners did not win any of their first five league games this season, but have since recorded back-to-back victories over Rayo Vallecano and Barcelona to move clear of the bottom three.
Vitolo has claimed that Sevilla's work-rate was not high enough in the early stages of the campaign, but is confident that a corner has now been turned.
"For us, the most important thing was getting wins on the board after our bad start. These two victories [against Rayo and Barcelona] have moved us up the table and nearer to where we want to be, which is in Europe," Vitolo told AS.
"It's true that we must correct many things, but the most important thing at the moment is to achieve good results and give a good account of ourselves.
"We realised we weren't playing well or running enough, and our success over the years has derived from everyone working on the pitch for each other."
Sevilla return to La Liga action away to Eibar on Saturday.
