Sevilla boss Unai Emery has called on his side to put together a winning run in order to move up the La Liga table.

The Spanish outfit have already lost five times in La Liga this season, with a total of 13 points leaving them in 14th position in the table.

"The team needs to win in order to gain confidence," he told the club's official television channel.

"We have a five-point deficit, because with 18 points on the board we would be in another way, and would be a growing team, so we need to start scoring threes soon.

"Our idea is to go out and win games and we will not give up on that, because I consider myself someone with a winning spirit."

Sevilla have not won on the road in the league since October 2012.
