Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega has admitted that his side had to work "extra hard" for their victory in the Europa League final against Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk this evening.
The La Liga outfit were forced to come from behind on their way to a 3-2 triumph in Warsaw, with Carlos Bacca scoring twice to help the club retain the title.
This season's competition also carried the added prize of a route straight into the group stages of the 2015-16 Champions League, and Banega was delighted with the double success.
"We knew it'd be hard. They scored quickly but we were able to turn it round," he told reporters.
"Winning this final and now going to the Champions League - what more could you ask for? We had to work extra hard tonight for our friends and family in the stands."
With their success, Sevilla became the first team to lift the UEFA Cup/Europa League four times.
