Gordon Strachan: "We are in a good place"

Scotland manager Gordon Strachan has insisted that he has every confidence in his players ahead of their Euro 2016 qualifier against Georgia on Saturday.

In their opening match of the campaign last month, Scotland pushed Germany to the limit before losing 2-1, but Strachan has stressed that the players are feeling good as they look to get their first qualifying points at Ibrox.

The 57-year-old told reporters: "The players make me feel good, and confident. They've trained intensely and asked questions this week and we're in a good place at the moment.

"The performances over the last year have allowed us to feel good."

After hosting Georgia, Scotland make the trip to Poland for their second game in three days.
