Almost 20,000 fans turn out to welcome former AC Milan midfielder Kaka back to Sao Paulo, where he will spend the next season on loan.

Thousands of Sao Paulo supporters have turned out to welcome Kaka back to the club this afternoon.

The Brazilian, who confirmed his exit from AC Milan earlier this week, will have a loan spell with the side before joining newly-formed MLS club Orlando City in January.

According to reports in the Brazil media, almost 20,000 fans attended the Morumbi Stadium for the 32-year-old's official introduction.

Kaka will spend the next season on loan with Sao Paulo as Orlando City are not due to start competing in MLS until 2015.
