Salford City and Peterborough United will renew hostilities in Wednesday's FA Cup first-round replay at Moor Lane on Wednesday evening.

The two sides played out a drab 0-0 draw in the initial encounter and are vying for the chance to meet Shrewsbury Town in the second round of the competition.

We say: Salford City 0-2 Peterborough United

Peterborough may have been hit with defensive absentees which Exeter were able to take advantage of, but it is difficult to see Salford experiencing that much goalmouth joy amid their scoreless streak.

Wood's side deserve credit for coming away from Posh's turf with a draw to their name, but we expect McCann's side to immediately get back on track and advance to the second round.

Oxford United will hope to give their season a boost on Sunday afternoon when they face Woking in the FA Cup first round.

At a time when the visitors occupy 17th position in the League One table, their hosts are in fifth place in the National League.

Given their respective form, we expect this contest to be far more competitive than many may anticipate. Nevertheless, there is little doubting that the superior quality is in the ranks of the visitors, who we feel will battle their way to a hard-fought victory.
