Preview: Rotherham United vs. Watford

Rotherham vs. Watford

Two sides with one win and one loss to their names meet at the New York Stadium on Tuesday night as Rotherham United host Watford in the Championship.

While Rotherham picked up their first league win of the season by edging out Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, Watford experienced defeat for the first time in 2014-15 by going down 3-0 at Norwich City.

The Hornets' cause at Carrow Road wasn't helped by Joel Ekstrand's early red card, and he will now have to sit out the trip to South Yorkshire.

Aside from that, Giuseppe Sannino has no reason to change his starting lineup.

Opposite number Steve Evans was over the moon with his side's victory against Wolves and could go with the same XI that started on Saturday.

Match-winner Ryan Hall might have to miss out, though, after picking up a knock moments after he scored the decisive goal.

Kieran Agard's proposed move to Leeds United seems to have fallen through and he could return to the lineup after getting a big reception when coming on at the weekend.

The last time these two met was nine years ago, when Watford claimed a 1-0 win at the Don Valley Stadium. The Hornets are unbeaten in four matches against the Millers.
