Ben Pringle targets playoff berth

Ben Pringle believes that Rotherham United have the ability to reach the League One playoffs this season.

Rotherham United midfielder Ben Pringle has claimed that the club can reach the League One playoffs this season.

The Millers moved into sixth place in the table with their 4-1 victory over Gillingham last weekend.

Pringle believes that the loan signings of James Tavernier and Haris Vuckic from Newcastle United will boost the side's chances of remaining in the top six.

"I can't see us ending up near the bottom of the table, so where we are now is a realistic shout to try and get in the playoffs and if we can try and keep hold of these loan signings for a little bit longer then I can't see why we can't do that," TEAMtalk quotes Pringle as saying.

"We just have to keep going and the days that it doesn't happen we just have to keep believing in what we are doing and hopefully we will be okay."

Pringle has scored four goals in 24 appearances this season.
