Crowd congestion delays Rotherham, Sheff Wed clash

Tonight's Capital One Cup clash between Rotherham United and Sheffield Wednesday has been delayed due to crowd congestion.

The match was due to kick off at 7.45pm at the New York Stadium, but that time has now been pushed back by 15 minutes.

The added congestion is likely a result of keen local interest in the South Yorkshire derby.

Rotherham are currently plying their trade in League One, while Wednesday are a Championship club.
