Roma target Ajax starlet

Ajax youngster Christian Eriksen has emerged as a target for Serie A side Roma, according to the player's agent Martin Schoots.

Manager Luis Enrique is reportedly keen on securing the 20-year-old midfielder, who has been attracting interest from across Europe following an impressive campaign in Holland.

"Roma is an interesting project, but the player is under contract until June 2014," the Dane's agent told Italian radio station Rete Sport.

"We have had requests from various clubs, but no one knows what is going to happen in a few months."

Manchester United are also said to be interested in Eriksen, who played for Ajax against the Red Devils in the Europa League this season.
