Roma determined to keep Alisson

Roma president James Pallotta has insisted that goalkeeper Alisson is unlikely to leave the club this summer.

The Brazilian has been strongly linked with Liverpool and Real Madrid, but the Italian club's owner has said that the stopper has no desire to leave, nor is he for sale.

"Why should he leave? He will stay - he has a contract," the Daily Mail quotes Pallotta as saying.

"I love him and I have never wanted to sell him. I thought he was great and now he's showing how good he is."

Roma reached the semi-finals of the Champions League this week after defeating Barcelona 3-0 in the Italian capital to overturn a 4-1 deficit from their quarter-final first leg.
