The 27-year-old has found first-team football limited under Rudi Garcia, and will join the Gialloblu for the rest of season.
A club statement read: "Hellas Verona has acquired Marco Antonio de Mattos Filho 'Marquinho' from Roma on a temporary loan deal."
Hellas Verona are currently eighth in the Serie A table.
