Daniel De Silva to join Roma

Perth Glory have confirmed that midfielder Daniel De Silva will join Roma.

The 18-year-old had been linked with a number of clubs after a string of impressive displays for the Australian outfit.

At the age of 15, he became the second-youngster player in history to make his A-League debut.

It is reported that he will cost Roma a transfer fee in the region of €2m (£1.45m).

De Silva made his final appearance for Perth Glory in their 3-1 win over Melbourne City today.
