Kadir double downs Ajaccio

Two goals in two minutes from Foued Kadir gave Rennes a 2-0 victory over Ajaccio at Stade de la Route de Lorient on Saturday.

The hosts were ahead in the 14th minute when Kadir cut in from the left of the penalty area before curling a shot past Guillermo Ochoa into the far corner of the net.

Rennes doubled their lead just two minutes later when Kadir controlled a long ball in the box with his head before bundling his shot home under pressure.

Rennes stay fifth in the table, while Ajaccio slip to 19th in Ligue 1.
