West Ham United hopeful of signing Sadio Mane?

West Ham United are reportedly hopeful of signing Red Bull Salzburg striker Sadio Mane this summer.

The Senegal international, 22, has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs in recent months, including Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Mane, who joined Salzburg from Metz in 2012, scored 17 goals for the Austrian club last season.

Despite interest from elsewhere, West Ham are confident that they can bring Mane to Upton Park before the start of the new campaign, according to Sky Sports News.

The forward has scored four goals in 15 appearances for the Senegal national team.
