Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly been ruled out of the remainder of the World Cup.
It has emerged this afternoon that the Real Madrid superstar sat out the majority of Portugal's training and is weighing up whether to play again this tournament.
He has reportedly been told by the national team's doctor that playing again could put the rest of his career in doubt.
Portugal were thrashed 4-0 by Germany in their opening game and are already without Pepe (suspended) and Fabio Coentrao (injured) for their next Group G match against USA on Sunday.
