Zidane, Perez clash over Vinicius Junior?

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and club president Florentino Perez reportedly have differing views when it comes to the immediate future of Vinicius Junior.

The 18-year-old, who officially arrived at the Bernabeu last summer, scored seven times and registered 13 assists in 36 appearances for Los Blancos during the 2018-19 campaign.

According to Sport, Zidane wants Vinicius to leave the club on loan this summer, but that is not a view shared by Perez, who is keen for the teenager to continue his progress with Madrid.

Vinicius - linked with a loan move to Real Valladolid - was a regular in the latter stages of last season, with the likes of Isco, Marco Asensio and Gareth Bale all struggling to perform for the capital giants.

However, the arrival of Eden Hazard from Chelsea could see Vinicius's first-team opportunities limited next term.
