Varane wants Pogba at Madrid

Raphael Varane has revealed that he "would love" for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba to join him at Real Madrid.

Pogba, who left Manchester United on a free transfer in 2012, is widely regarded as the best young midfielder in Europe, with a number of clubs interested in his services.

Real have been strongly linked with a move, and now Varane has added fuel to the speculation by discussing his French compatriot.

"I have no information about any move," the 20-year-old told Telefoot.

"But personally, if it happens, I'd be very happy. I would love to play with him, but it's not my decision obviously."

Varane and Pogba are both expected to travel with the France squad for the 2014 World Cup.
