Agent Alvaro Torres has claimed that Real Madrid have expressed an interest in signing Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz.
Since leaving Real Betis for Naples in 2018, Ruiz has contributed 10 goals from 72 appearances in all competitions - a return which has led to speculation regarding his future.
With Real Madrid frequently being linked with an approach for the 24-year-old, Torres has acknowledged that Los Blancos are admirers of the Spain international.
Speaking to Canal Sur, Torres said: "It's obvious that there are many important clubs that have asked about him, he has spent three years at a high level.
"Yes, it's true that Real has shown interest, we told Napoli, but right now, he must focus on his team. This summer, we will see. He is a midfielder who will mark an era."
Ruiz still has over three years remaining on his contract with the Serie A outfit.
