Cristiano Ronaldo: 'I have not signed new Real Madrid contract'

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has denied that he has signed a new contract with the Spanish giants.

Recent reports have stated that the Portugal captain had agreed a new bumper contract, keeping him at the Bernabeu until 2018.

Ronaldo has moved swiftly to deny these suggestions by writing on Twitter: "All the news about my renewal with Real Madrid are false."

The FIFA Ballon d'Or runner-up is believed to be the subject of a world record £85m bid from Monaco and has also been linked with a return to Manchester United.
